DISTRICT Arts is pleased to announce “SATURATION,” an exhibition exploring relationships between color, intensity and the way that purity impacts our visual experiences.

Saturation in the context of muted colors?  Sure.  Saturation impacted by glazing over white?  Why not?  Inspiration?  How about Elizabeth Osborne or Christopher St. Leger?

The works of 15 artists will be featured reflecting a variety of media, styles and interpretations.

All artists residing in the United States are invited to enter the juried exhibition. Any original 2-D work or 3-D work created within the last three years is eligible for entry. Works selected will be on exhibit at DISTRICT Arts in Frederick, MD from June 19 to July 21, 2019.

Entries Must be Received by end of day May 31.  SUBMISSION DEADLINE HAS PAST.

Evan Boggess is Director of the Phaze 2 Gallery and Adjunct Instructor of studio art in the Department of Contemporary Art and Theater at Shepherd University.
